Tony Ferraiuolo
Tony Ferraiuolo fielded the first of his legendary dark brown & white No. 73 dirt Modifieds in 1969 and was a leading Northeast car owner into the 1980s.
Among his top, winning drivers were Whip Mulligan, Rags Carter, Billy Osmun, Bobby Bottcher, Sammy Beavers, Gary Balough and son Anthony Ferraiuolo IV.
He was the winning car owner at Super DIRT Week in Syracuse, NY three times in the 1970s (with driver Gary Balough), won the Eastern States 200 at Middletown, NY in 1977 with Balough; and was first in the Flemington 200 in 1978 (with driver Billy Osmun). Tony was also a champion car owner at Orange County; and won features as a car owner at East Windsor, NJ and Nazareth, PA.
