Steve Smith
Driving his legendary "Black Bandit" No. 19 Sprint Car, Steve Smith Sr. is one of the great names on the Central PA circuit with over 260 career wins.
He first competed in 1969 and wound down his career in the latter-1990s. At his "home track" Lincoln Speedway, he had 150 victories between 1971 and 1996; and three titles. He is also a 32- time Sprint Car winner at Williams Grove with one championship; and a Sprint Car title holder at Pa.'s Susquehanna Speedway.
He was also the 1991 PA Sprint Car Speedweek champion. He is the father of nationally- recognized, many-time winning 410 Sprint Car driver Stevie Smith.
