Schneider was born the son of a NJ farmer. Frankie left the family farm in the late 1940's to begin his racing career.

Schneider has won hundreds of feature races in a variety of race cars to include Modifieds, Sprint Cars and Stock Cars.

Schneider won the NASCAR Modified championship in 1952.

His last victory was in 1977.
