How To Join EMPA

Dutch started winning in the 1940s. He won the Cederhurst championship in NY in 1940, the track championship at Yellow Jacket Speedway in PA in 1946 and 1948.

Dutch won the ARDC championships in '56, '57, 60 and '65.

While serving as the President of the Super Midget Racing Club in 1973, he won the championship title for that club.

He was a mulit-term president of the ARDC.

Dutch is known as the man who rescued the ARDC from extinction as its president from '52-'68. In 1952 Dutch managed to hold together a small group of devoted ARDC owners and drivers and brought the club back to the limelight.

By 1968 the ARDC had a schedule of 51 races and prize money often exceeded $93,000.
